Never before have I been able to use a shampoo without using a gallon of conditioner after. I sceptically tried this shampoo and was so amazed I didn’t need any conditioner and I could brush my hair, yes amazing!

The first time I used the shampoo bar I wasn’t sure and Viv and Steve assured me to persist as it was getting rid of the nasties from previous shampoos. I continued with it and found after 2 weeks my hair had a great shine and has stopped falling out. I could grab clumps of my hair after washing and now I have stopped shedding my hair everywhere I go (which is great) and..this morning when I washed my hair it combed out really easily, no conditioner, and feels great!

For fellas, the shampoo bar speaks their language! One step, its quick, no weird bottle to try and open, no waiting for a minute – just run the bar over their head, wiggle the fingers thru and voila! They’re done! So simple, they’ll love it!.
For girls (especially those with short hair), you’ll love the shampoo bar – for a couple of reasons… Us girls end up using so much ‘product’ in our hair these days to get it to have body and shape or to style the way we want it to go. I found that the shampoo and conditioners were putting some kind of ‘film or layer’ on my hair which would leave it feeling silky smooth and way too ‘clean’ and so my hair would flop without using a wax or gel etc. I sometimes felt that the waxs and hair products were building up on my scalp too – giving me irritations and flaky stuff…
Secondly, we all know how costly a full head colour is these days at the hairdressers, well I’ve also noticed that my base colour lasts double the time – well, actually, could be longer – but I just chose to re-colour after 12 weeks cause I was bored with the old one! I guess if the product you use (ie the soap bar) doesn’t ‘strip’ your hair of its natural oils, the colours you use on it, stay on your hair for longer too.
Hey if Body Bar’s soap was good enough for me to remember to buy several months supply before I left town… it must be good! … Soaps just ain’t soaps anymore….
Vinegar Hair Rinse
Hair is on the mildly acidic side of the pH scale and has an ideal pH of 4.5 to 5.5, which is close to that of an apple cider vinegar rinse. Rinsing with apple cider vinegar will help balance the pH of your hair. Rinsing will also close the numerous cuticle scales which cover and protect the surface of each hair shaft. This imparts a smoother surface which reflects more light and as a result leaves your hair shinier, smoother and easier to manage.
Don’t worry about the slight vinegar smell you will notice after rinsing. It will disappear completely as your hair dries.
To make your own healthy after-shampoo hair rinse by mixing 1/3 of a cup (75 ml) of apple cider vinegar into a one litre of water. You can then store this mixture in a bottle and keep it in the shower for ready use. Apply the vinegar rinse after shampooing and then rinse it all out, or for extra conditioning, you can leave the rinse on your hair. This natural hair care product can be used once or twice a week or more often as needed.
